### Author Biography

**Chris Mitchell** and **Pilar Guzmán** are media heavyweights. Mitchell is a former media executive and publisher of _Vanity Fair_, _The New Yorker_, _GQ_, _Wired_, and other publications. He is now designing and developing house projects full-time. Guzmán Guzmán is the editorial director of _Oprah Daily_, former editor in chief of _Condé Nast Traveler_ and _Martha Stewart Living_, and founding editor of the beloved parenting magazine _Cookie_. In 2020, the _New York Times_ named her cookbook, _Time for Dinner_, as one of the top cookbooks that food reporters and editors love. Mitchell and Guzmán's homes have been featured in _Architectural Digest_, the _New York Times_, and _Martha Stewart Living_, and featured in the books _Brooklyn Modern_ and _Restoring a House in the City_.
