### Author Biography

PATI JINICH (pronounced HEEN-ich) is the host of _Pati's Mexican Table,_ now in its ninth season. Named one of the "100 Greatest Cooks of All-Time" by _Epicurious_ and _Bon Appétit_, she has won three James Beard Awards, a Gracie Award, an IACP Award and is a three-time Emmy nominee. She is the resident chef of the Mexican Cultural Institute and has appeared on NPR's _Splendid Table_ and _All Things Considered,_ NBC's _Today,_ CBS's _The Talk,_ ABC's _Good Morning America,_ and Food Network. She is also a contributor to _The New York Times_ and _The Washington Post_. Born and raised in Mexico City, she lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with her husband and three boys.
