### Author Biography

Mike Twohy is a Geisel Honor Award-winning author and illustrator of several books for children, including _Poindexter Makes a_ _Friend_, _Outfoxed_ about which _The Horn Book_ said, "story time audiences will howl with laughter," _Wake Up, Rupert!_, and _Mouse and Hippo_, which the _School Library Journal_ called "a story time hit." He has been a longtime contributor of cartoons to _The New Yorker_. He lives with his wife, cats, and yellow Lab in Berkeley, California.
