### Author Biography

Emily Gravett is the author and illustrator of many children's books, including _Matilda's Cat_, _Again!_, _Little Mouse's Big Book of Fears_ (winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal), _Meerkat Mail_, _Tidy_, and _Old Hat_. Her first book, _Wolves_, was the winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal and the Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Award for Illustration. Her second book, _Orange Pear Apple Bear_, was a Quills Award finalist, a _Publishers Weekly_ Best Book of the Year, a _Kirkus Reviews_ Best Book of the Year, and on the shortlist for the Kate Greenaway Medal.
