### Author Biography

**Stewart O'Nan** is the author of numerous books, including _Wish You Were Here_, _Everyday People_, _In the Walled City_, _The Speed Queen_, and _Emily, Alone_. His 2007 novel, _Last Night at the Lobster_, was a national bestseller and a finalist for the _Los Angeles Times_ Book Prize. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, where he lives with his family.
