### Author Biography

M.G. VASSANJI won the Giller Prize for _The Book of Secrets_ and _The In-Between World of Vikram Lall_, and the Governor General's Literary Award for Non-Fiction for _A Place Within: Rediscovering India_. His novel _The Assassin's Song_ was shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and the Governor General's Literary Award for Fiction. His novel _Nostalgia_ was a finalist in Canada Reads 2017. His forthcoming novel, _Everything There Is_, will publish in Fall 2023.
