### Author Biography

**Kyo Maclear** is a critically acclaimed author whose books have received starred reviews, appeared on numerous "Best of" lists, and been published in multiple languages around the world. _The Big Bath House_ received five starred reviews and landed on many best of the year lists. One of her picture books, _Virginia Wolf_, has been adapted for the stage, and another, _Julia, Child_, is currently being adapted into an animated television series.

**Gracey Zhang** is an award-winning illustrator, author, and animator with a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. She received the Ezra Jack Keats Illustrator Award for her debut picture book, _Lala's Words_. Gracey has also illustrated _The Big Bath House_, which received five starred reviews; _Nigel and The Moon_, a Jumpstart Read for the Record selection; and _The Upside Down Hat,_ which was a _The New York Times_ Best Illustrated Children's Book of 2022.
