### Author Biography

**Mike Baron** is the author of _Helmet Head_, _Whack Job_, and _Biker_, three mindblowing novels that will change the way you feel about horror fiction. Baron broke into comics with _Nexus_, his groundbreaking science fiction title co-created with illustrator Steve Rude. He has written for _Creem_, _The Boston Globe_, _Isthmus_, _AARP Magazine_, _Oui_, _Madison Magazine_, _Fusion_, _Poudre Magazine_, _Argosy_, and many others. He has won two Eisner Awards and an Inkpot for his work on _Nexus_, now being published in five languages including French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Baron's other creations include _The Badger_, _Spyke_, _Feud_, _The Hook_, and _The Architect_. The latter is available as a graphic novel from Big Head Press. Baron's short stories have appeared in _Masked_, _Blood Lite 2_, the upcoming _Blood Lite 3_, and the June 2011 issue of _Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine_.
