**Betty Fletcher** is an editor, writer, and photographer with 25 years of publishing experience in the Christian trade. Her photography is featured in _Gentle Prayers for Hope and Healing_ and _Because You Care_. She makes her home in Oregon's Willamette Valley.

**Lou Police** has been a professional illustrator for the last twenty-five years. He has worked for advertising agencies across the country, providing artwork for many nationally known clients, and also for the motion picture industry. A graduate of Art Center College of Design, he garnered an Emmy certificate for storyboarding while working for Warner Brothers Television Animation.
