### Author Biography

**Tom Gauld** is a cartoonist and illustrator. He has weekly comic strips in _The Guardian_ and _New Scientist_ and his comics have been published in _The New York Times_ and _The Believer_. In addition to his graphic novels _Goliath_and _You're All Just Jealous of My Jetpack_, he has designed a number of book covers. Gauld lives and works in London.
