### Author Biography

**Meredith Costain** is the author of _Daddies Are Awesome_ and many other books for children. Her first poem was published when she was eight, and she has been writing ever since. She lives in Melbourne, Australia, with her partner and their pets.

**Polona Lovsin** is the illustrator of _Daddies Are Awesome_. She grew up on her grandparents' farm in Slovenia, where her dad gave her colored pencils and paints as a child. She went on to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia, before beginning her career as an illustrator.
