### Author Biography

**Sarah S. Brannen** is the illustrator of the Robert F. Sibert Honor book _Summertime Sleepers_, and the author of _Uncle Bobby's Wedding,_ named one of the 100 best children's books of the last 100 years by Booktrust in the UK. Sarah has written and illustrated _A Perfect Day,_ _Bear Needs Help_, _Madame Martine_, and _Madame Martine Breaks the Rules._ She illustrated _Seashells: More Than a Home_ and the ALA Notable Book _Feathers: Not Just For Flying_, which won the Riverby Award and the Crystal Kite Award. Sarah also illustrated the 40th Anniversary edition of _All Kinds of Families_ by Norma Simon, as well as many other children's books. Sarah is an avid figure skater and lives in Massachusetts.

**Forrest Burdett** is an illustrator/author and content creator from New Jersey with a passion for vibrant colors, fairytales, and a dash of magic! Ever since he was a child, Forrest has been drawing and writing about faraway places and fantastical adventures. He studied illustration at FIT in Manhattan and now lives in Portland, Oregon.
