### Author Biography

**Ethan Hawke**'s first graphic novel with illustrator Greg Ruth, _Indeh_, debuted at #1 on the _New York Times_ bestseller list in 2016. His other literary works include _New York Times_ bestsellers _Rules for a Knight_, _Ash Wednesday_, and _The Hottest State_. He has also acted in more than fifty films and is the director of three feature films and one documentary. He is a four-time Academy Award nominee.

**Greg Ruth** is the _New York Times_ bestselling author/illustrator of _The Lost Boy_ and _Indeh_ and has been making books and comics since 1993. Greg has also created music videos for both Prince and Rob Thomas and children's picture books including _Pure Enduring Spirit_ (with Barack Obama), _Red Kite, Blue Kite_ (with Ji Li Jiang), _A Pirate's Guide to First Grade_ (with James Preller), and his latest from Feiwel & Friends entitled _Coming Home_.
