### Author Biography

**Sharrona Pearl** is Associate Professor of Bioethics and History in the Health Care Administration Department at Drexel University, USA. She is the author of _Do I Know You? From Face Blindness to Super Recognition_ (2023), _Face/On: Face Transplants and the Ethics of the Other_ (2017), and _A__bout Faces: Physiognomy in Nineteenth-Century Britain (_2010). Her writing has appeared in _Public Books, Lilith Magazine, The Revealer_, and _The Washington Post_, among others.
