Jennifer Ward has written numerous award-winning picture books, including _Just You and Me_, illustrated by Alexander Vidal; _How to Find a Bird_, illustrated by Diana Sudyka; _Round_, illustrated by Lisa Congdon; and _Mama Built a Little Nest_ and _Mama Dug a Little Den_, both illustrated by Steve Jenkins. A former elementary educator, Jennifer Ward is an experienced public speaker who travels the country, speaking in schools and at international and national writer and literacy conferences.
