### Author Biography

Nick Balian is a Disney Publishing artist and an illustration manager at Pixar Animation Studios, where he helps create children's books based on Pixar's films. Of all the books that Nick has illustrated, his absolute favorites are the Little Golden Books. He had the pleasure of illustrating the Little Golden Book for Pixar's _Onward_ and co-illustrating the Little Golden Book for Pixar's _Soul_. Nick has also contributed illustrations to Disney Little Golden Books, including _The Jungle Cruise_, _Mickey's Walt Disney World Adventure,_ and _The Orange Bird_. As a beloved Disneyland fan, Nick's dream came true when he wrote and illustrated his very own Little Golden Book, _Little Man of Disneyland: A Change of Luck_\--the much-anticipated sequel to the 1955 classic, _Little Man of Disneyland_. When he's away from the drawing board, Nick loves to watch and study films, write short stories, speak in puns, and spend time with friends and family, especially his nieces, whom he loves to pieces!
