### Author Biography

**Kate Banks** is the award-winning author of more than forty books for children and young adults, including _Noah Builds an Ark_, illustrated by John Rocco, and the _Boston Globe-Horn Book_ Award winner _And If the Moon Could Talk_, illustrated by Georg Hallensleben. Kate Banks lives in Monaco with her husband and two sons.

**Lauren Tobia** is the author-illustrator of _Oscar's Tower of Flowers_ as well as the illustrator of several books for children, including the Anna Hibiscus books by Atinuke, _Baby's Got the Blues_ by Carol Diggory Shields, _Happy in Our Skin_ by Fran Manushkin, and _Are You Sure, Mother Bear?_ by Amy Hest. Lauren Tobia lives in Bristol, England.
