### Author Biography

**Brian Azzarello** has been writing comics professionally since the mid-1990s. He is the author of _Jonny Double, Batman: Broken City_, and the Harvey and Eisner Award-winning _100 Bullets_, all created in collaboration with artist Eduardo Risso. Azzarello's other work for DC includes _Hellblazer_ and _Loveless_ with Marcelo Frusin; _Dark Knight III: The Master Race_ with Frank Miller, Andy Kubert, and Klaus Janson; _Superman: For Tomorrow_ with Jim Lee; _Joker_ and _Luthor_ with Lee Bermejo; _Sgt. Rock: Between Hell and A Hard Place_ with Joe Kubert; _Filthy Rich_ with Victor Santos; and most recently the all-new ongoing series _Wonder Woman_ with Cliff Chiang.

**Lee Bermejo** began drawing comics in 1997 for WildStorm Studios in San Diego at age 19. He collaborated with acclaimed writer Brian Azzarello on the graphic novels _Joker_ and _Luthor_, and worked with writer John Arcudi on the Superman feature in _Wednesday Comics_. He has also worked on _Hellblazer_ with Mike Carey and _Global Frequency_ with Warren Ellis. Bermejo has illustrated the covers to the line of Vertigo Crime graphic novels, beginning with _Filthy Rich_, written by Brian Azzarello, and _Dark Entries_, written by Ian Rankin. Bermejo has lived in Italy since 2003.
