### Author Biography

**Kevin Wade** is a playwright, screenwriter, and television writer and producer whose credits include the stage plays _Key Exchange, Mr. & Mrs.,_ and _Cruise Control_, and the screenplays for _Working Girl_ (seven Academy Award nominations), _True Colors, Mr. Baseball, Junior, Meet Joe Black,_ and _Maid in Manhattan_. For television, he created the ABC television drama _Cashmere Mafia_ and in 2010 joined the rookie CBS drama _Blue Bloods_ as a writer. Starting with the second season and for the rest of the show's fourteen year-run, Wade served as its showrunner, executive producer, and back-seat driver.
