### Author Biography

N. T. Wright is a prolific author and respected theologian. Formerly bishop of Durham in England, he is research professor of New Testament and early Christianity at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. His books include _Simply Christian_, _Jesus and the Victory of God_, and the magisterial _Paul and the Faithfulness of God_.

  

Phyllis J. Le Peau (1944-2022) worked with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for over two decades in St. Louis and the Chicago metro area. She is the author or coauthor of several Bible study guides, including _Ephesians_, _Women of the New Testament_, and _Grandparenting_ in the **LifeGuide(R)** Bible Studies series. She and her husband, Andy, have four married children and thirteen grandchildren.
