**Marvin A. Sweeney** is professor of Hebrew Bible at Claremont School of Theology and professor of Tanak (Bible) at the Academy for Jewish Religion, California. His previous books include the FOTL volume on Isaiah 1-39 and _Tanak: A Theological and Critical Introduction to the Jewish Bible._
