### Author Biography

**Elise Gravel** is an award-winning author and illustrator. Well-known for her odd critters and unusual drawing style, Elise creates books that are popular with adults and children alike. In 2012 she won the Governor General's Literary Award for Children's Illustration (French) for _La clé à molette_. Her books _A Potato on a Bike_, _I Am Scary_, _The Wrench_ and _I'm the Boss!_ are also available from Orca. Elise lives in Montreal with her family.
