### Author Biography

**Jon Klassen** created illustrations for the popular series _The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place_ and served as an illustrator on the animated feature film _Coraline._ His illustrations for Caroline Stutson's _Cats Night Out_ won the Governor General Award in 2010_. I Want My Hat Back_ is the first book he has both written and illustrated. Originally from Niagara Falls, Canada, he lives in Los Angeles.
