### Author Biography

Bernie Mac was an actor and comedian with his roots in the Chicago comedy clubs. He's best known for his role in _The Bernie Mac Show_ and as one of the Kings of Comedy. Bernie wrote two books during his lifetime, _Maybe You Never Cry Again_ and _I Ain't Scared of You_. Bernie passed from complications of sarcoidosis in 2012, but he still tops the social media charts in popularity. His legacy lives on in his work and in his words.

Rhonda R. McCullough (Bernie Mac's widow) is the overseer of the entire Bernie Mac estate as well as the president and CEO of the Bernie Mac Foundation.
