### Author Biography

SUSAN MONTANARI is the author of _Who's the Grossest of Them All?,_ illustrated by Jake Parker, as well as _My Dog's a Chicken,_ illustrated by Anne Wilsdorf, dubbed a great addition to most picture book collections by _School Library Journal_. She spent the majority of her life on the beach and near tidal creeks surrounding Savannah, where she currently resides with her husband and a cat named Tybee. BRIAN PINKNEY received a Caldecott Honor for _Duke Ellington_ by Andrea Davis Pinkney and for _The Faithful Friend_ by Robert D. San Souci.
