### Author Biography

**Pete Oswald** is the illustrator of the _New York Times_ bestsellers _The Bad Seed_ and _The Good Egg_, both written by Jory John. He worked as a character designer and concept artist on the popular films _Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Hotel Transylvania,_ and _ParaNorman._ He was also the art director and production designer for _The Angry Birds Movie._ Pete Oswald lives in Santa Monica, California, with his wife and three children.
