**Michelle Meadows** is the author of _Itsy Bitsy Baby Mouse_, _Traffic Pups_, _Pilot Pups_, _Piggies in the Kitchen_, _Piggies in Pajamas_, _Hibernation Station_, and _The Way the Storm Stops_. She lives in Silver Springs, Maryland.

Kurt Cyrus has illustrated numerous acclaimed picture books celebrating the natural world, including _What in the World?: Numbers in Nature_ by Nancy Raines Day; _Mammoths on the Move_ by Lisa Wheeler; and his own _Tadpole Rex_ and _The Voyage of Turtle Rex_.
