### Author Biography

Evan Turk is an Ezra Jack Keats Award-winning illustrator, author, and animator. He is the author-illustrator of _The Storyteller_, _Heartbeat_, _You Are Home: An Ode to the National Parks_, _A_ _Thousand Glass Flowers_, and _Hello, Moon_ and the illustrator of _Muddy: The Story of Blues Legend Muddy Waters_, which was a _New York Times_ Best Illustrated Children's Book; _The People's Painter_; _Grandfather Gandhi_; and its companion _Be the Change_.
