### Author Biography

Cinders McLeod also wrote and illustrated the Moneybunny Books _Save It!_, _Spend It!_, and _Earn It!_ and is the creator of the book and comic strip _Broomie Law_. Her illustrations have appeared in _The Guardian_, _The Express_, _The Observer_, _The Independent_, _Herald Scotland_, _The Scotsman_, _The Globe and Mail_, and _Macleans_, and on CBC television. Her work has been recognized by the Society for News Design, the National Magazine Awards, the National Newspaper Awards, and The Guinness Book of Records. Cinders is also a recorded singer-songwriter-double bassist, a Gaelic language student, and a mother of two. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
