### Author Biography

Jen Arena is formerly an editorial director at Random House Books for Young Readers, and has written over 50 books for kids, including _Lady Libery's Holiday_, _Salsa Lullaby_, _Sleep Tight, Snow White, Marta! Big & Small,_ and _Besos for Baby._

When she's not writing or editing, you can find Jen in her garden, curled up with a good book, on a volleyball court, or at her local bookstore. She lives in Tampa, FL.  

Rahele Jomepour Bell came to the United States from Iran in 2011 to pursue her dream of being a free international artist and graduated with an MFA in Integrated Visual Arts from Iowa State University in 2015. Books she has illustrated include _To Change a Planet, The Treasure Box, Angry Me, Book's Big Adventure_, and _Our Favorite Day of the Year_.

Rahele is the recipient of the We Need Diverse Books Illustration Mentorship Award, the SCBWI Portfolio Showcase Grand Prize, and the SCBWI Social Media Mentorship Award. She lives in the green state of Washington with her husband and her daughter, and works as a full-time freelance illustrator in her home studio.
