### Author Biography

**Connie Bergstein Dow** has an MFA from the University of Michigan and is the author of two books for teachers: _One, Two, What Can I Do? Dance and Music for the Whole Day_ and _Dance, Turn, Hop, Learn! Enriching Movement Activities for Preschoolers_. She has also written a preschool teacher handbook for WeTHRIVE! with movement activities that address the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards for language arts and mathematics and contributed to the development of a dance curriculum for the Ohio Department of Education Model Arts Curriculum. Connie has also written articles for _Highlights High Five_, _Teaching Young Children_ and _Young Children_ (NAEYC), and _Early Childhood News_. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Originally from London, **Gareth Llewhellin** now lives in beautiful Somerset with his wife and two boys. He works from his home studio alongside his ever-faithful assistant, Herbie the Jack Russell, with coffee and treats at the ready! After studying illustration at Bournemouth College of Art and Design and working as an in-house illustrator for most of his career, Gareth took the plunge to freelance seven years ago and hasn't looked back. He loves bikes, nature, and fresh air.
