Salbi is the founder and former CEO of Women for Women International, a grassroots humanitarian and development organization dedicated to helping women survivors of wars rebuild their lives financially and emotionally. Salbi is the author of several books, including the national bestseller _Between Two Worlds: Escape from Tyranny__:_ _Growing_ _U__p_ _in_ _the Shadow of Saddam._ She's been featured in _People_ magazine's "25 Women Changing The World," _Foreign Policy_ magazine's "100 Leading Global Thinkers," and _Fast Company's_ "The Most Creative People in Business."
