### Author Biography

**Audrea Lim** is a Brooklyn-based freelance writer and journalist whose work focuses on land, energy, and the environment. Her writing has appeared in _Harper's,_ the _New York Times_, the _Guardian_, the _New Republic_, and _The Nation_. Lim is the editor of _The World We Need_ and the author of _Free The Land_. She is a visiting scholar at the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at New York University and was a 2022 Macdowell fellow.
