**Bob Eckstein** is an award-winning illustrator, writer, _New Yorker_ cartoonist, snowman expert, and author of _The History of the Snowman_ (Simon & Schuster)_._ His cartoons, OpEds, and short stories appear regularly in the _New York Times, New York Daily News, MAD_ magazine, _Barron's, Readers Digest, The Spectator, Prospect, Wall Street Journal, Playboy,_ among many others. He was a columnist for the _Village Voice, New York Newsday,_ and _Time Out New York_. He has been interviewed in over 100 TV, radio and magazine spots including Good Morning America and _People_ magazine.
