**Carmen Saldaña** lives and works in Gijon, a rainy little city in the north of Spain. After working as a graphic designer, Saldaña became a full-time illustrator and has worked on a whole host of picture books, including _Bug Bear, Bunnybear,_ and _Bedtime, Little Mouse._ She loves animals and is inspired by everything in nature.
