### Author Biography

**Christopher Golden** is the New York Times bestselling, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of such novels as _Road of Bones_, _Ararat_, _Snowblind_, and _Red Hands_. With Mike Mignola, he is the co-creator of the Outerverse comic book universe, including such series as _Baltimore_, _Joe Golem: Occult Detective_, and _Lady Baltimore_. As an editor, he has worked on the short story anthologies _Seize the Night_, _Dark Cities_, and _The New Dead_, among others, and he has also written and co-written comic books, video games, screenplays, and a network television pilot. In 2015 he founded the popular Merrimack Valley Halloween Book Festival. He was born and raised in Massachusetts, where he still lives with his family. His work has been nominated for the British Fantasy Award, the Eisner Award, and multiple Shirley Jackson Awards. For the Bram Stoker Awards, Golden has been nominated ten times in eight different categories, and won twice. His original novels have been published in more than fifteen languages in countries around the world.

**Tim Lebbon** is a British horror and dark fantasy writer.  
Lebbon's short story ″Reconstructing Amy″ won the Bram Stoker Award for Short Fiction in 2001, his novel _Dusk_ won the 2007 August Derleth Award from the British Fantasy Society for best novel of the year. His novelization of the film _30 Days of Night_ became a _New York Times_ bestseller and won a Scribe Award in 2008. The film _Pay the Ghost_ by Uli Edel is based on a story by Tim Lebbon. _The Silence_ was made into a film by John R. Leonetti and was released 10 April 2019 on Netflix. Tim also made a cameo as a corpse in the film! His _Firefly_ novel _Generations_ won the 2021 Dragon Award for Best Media Tie-In Novel.
