**Aaron Reynolds** is a _New York Times_\-bestselling author of many highly hilarious books for kids, including _Carnivores_; _Chicks and Salsa_; _Joey Fly, Private Eye_; the Caldecott Honor book _Creepy Carrots!_; _Nerdy Birdy_; and its follow-up, _Nerdy Birdy Tweets_. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife, two kids, four cats, and between three and ten fish, depending on the day.

**Dan Santat** is the _New York Times_ bestselling author and illustrator of _The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend_, _Are We There Yet?,_ and _After the Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again)_. His artwork is also featured in numerous picture books, chapter books, and middle grade novels, including Dav Pilkey's _Ricky Ricotta_ series.
