### Author Biography

Emma Bamford is an author and journalist who has worked for _The_ _Independent_, the _Daily Express_, the _Daily Mirror_, _Sailing Today_, and _Boat International_. She spent several years sailing among some of the world's most beautiful islands and wrote two travel memoirs about her experiences, _Casting Off_ and _Untie the Lines_.
