### Author Biography

**Natalie Bovis** is a mixologist, event producer, and writer with a passion for cocktails and animal advocacy. She founded The Liquid Muse cocktail blog in 2006 and penned four cocktail books including _Drinking with My Dog_ and the bestselling _Preggatinis_ (Globe Pequot, 2009). Natalie has written for _Everyday with Rachael Ray_, _Edible_ magazine, _The Tasting Panel_, _Modern Luxury_ magazine, and _Organic Gardening_, among others. She currently teaches mixology classes both online and at cooking schools. She's also shaken up cocktails on TV shows around the country and has won many cocktail awards and accolades. She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with her rescue dogs and rescue kitties.

**Rae Ritchie** is a fabric designer and illustrator for greeting cards, stationery, gifts, and apparel. Her work is often inspired by the lushness of nature, classic children's books, and old photographs.
