CHUCK HUGHES is the co-owner and executive chef of Montréal hot-spot Garde Manger. He is the bestselling author of _Garde Manger_ and _Chuck's Day Off,_ and the host of several television shows including _Chuck's Day Off_, _Chuck's Week Off_, _Chuck's Eat the Street_, _À couteaux tirés_, _Le monde selon Chuck_, _Chuck & Danny's Road Trip_, _Bienvenue chez Chuck_, and most recently, _Chuck and The First Peoples' Kitchen_. Chuck defeated Iron Chef Bobby Flay in the battle of Canadian lobster and starred in _The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs_. He lives in Montréal with his partner, Sabrina, and two sons, Charlie and Henri.
