### Author Biography

**Andrea J. Loney**'s works include the Caldecott Honor winning picture book _Double Bass Blues_, the Lee and Low New Voices Award winning and an NAACP Award nominated picture book biography _Take a Picture of Me, James Vanderzee!_, the picture book _Bunnybear_, an ALA Rainbow List title _VIP Stacey Abrams: Voting Visionary_. Her work can also be found in the critically-acclaimed children's poetry anthology _No Voice Too Small_. Her other titles include _Curve and Flow: The Elegant Vision of LA Architect Paul R. Williams_ and futuristic chapter book series _Abby in Orbit._

**Hazel Quintanilla** studied graphic design and illustration. She enjoys putting the bold colors and cute shapes living in her mind on paper. Hazel has produced work for numerous brands and magazines, as well as illustrating over one hundred children's books published around the world. She's the proud mom to nine dogs and lives in Guatemala with her husband.
