### Author Biography

Beryl Evans is the pseudonym adopted by Stephen King for his picture book _Charlie the Choo-Choo_. Stephen King has written over fifty worldwide bestsellers. His acclaimed works include _Carrie_, _The Shining_, _The Stand_, _Misery_ and 11.22.63. He is also the author of _The Dark Tower_ fantasy series. Many of his books have been turned into celebrated films, including _Stand by Me_, _The Green Mile_ and _The Shawshank Redemption_.

Ned Dameron has done illustrations for Dungeons and Dragons, as well as some for reprints of Edgar Rice Burroughs's works. He has produced cover artwork for many popular novels, including _The Waste Lands_ by Stephen King and _The Second Generation_ by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman.
