A writer-in-residence at Johns Hopkins University, Tim Wendel is the author of _Summer of '68_, _Castro's Curveball_, _Cancer Crossings_, and _High Heat_, which was an Editor's Choice selection by _The New York Times Book Review_. He lives outside of Washington, D.C.
