### Author Biography

Robert Burleigh is the award-winning author of many books for children, including _The Adventures of Mark Twain by Huckleberry Finn_, illustrated by Barry Blitt; _Night Flight_, illustrated by Wendell Minor; _Black Whiteness_, illustrated by Walter Lyon Krudop; and Sylvia's Bookshop, illustrated by Katy Wu. His many other books include _Hoops_; _Stealing Home_; and _Clang! Clang! Beep! Beep!_ He lives in Michigan.

Wendell Minor is the illustrator of many award-winning picture books for children, including Edward Hopper Paints His World with Robert Burleigh as well as _Wild Orca_ by Brenda Peterson and the New York Times-bestselling _Reaching for the Moon_ by Buzz Aldrin. He lives in Washington, Connecticut.
