**Kim Smith** has illustrated many books, including picture book versions of _Home Alone, E.T.,_ and _Buffy the Vampire Slayer._ She recently illustrated the _New York Times_ bestseller _Builder Brothers: Big Plans,_ written by the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott. She lives in Calgary, Alberta.
