### Author Biography

Robert Kershaw is a graduate of Reading University and joined the Parachute Regiment in 1973. After over thirty years in the army, he retired to become a full-time military historian. His books include _24 Hours at Waterloo_, _24 Hours at Balaclava_ and _A Street in Arnhem_, and his writing has appeared in _The Times_, _Sunday Times_ and _Daily Telegraph_.
