**Billy Cotton** is a New York-based interior and industrial designer. He officially began his interior-design practice in 2011, and was added to the AD100 in 2017. **Mayer Rus** is a design writer, editor, critic, and the West Coast editor of Architectural Digest. **Stephen Kent Johnson** is a photographer and art director who has contributed to _Architectural Digest_, _Dwell_, _Elle Decor_, and other publications.
