### Author Biography

**Scott Rothman** is the author of _Attack of the Underwear Dragon_, _Return of the Underwear Dragon_, and _Blue Bison Needs a Haircut_, all illustrated by Pete Oswald; _Parfait, Not Parfait!_, illustrated by Avery Monsen; and _Mako & Tiger: Two Not-So-Friendly Sharks_, illustrated by Mika Song. Scott Rothman's humor writing has appeared in the _New Yorker_, _GQ_, _Maxim_, and _McSweeney's_, and he has sold screenplays to several major studios, including for the feature film _Draft Day._ He wrote _Basketball Town_ when he discovered an arena-size hole in the picture-book market for his young sports-obsessed son. Scott Rothman lives in Connecticut with his wife and three children.

**Darnell Johnson** is an illustrator and story artist. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design and is the illustrator of _The Electric Slide and Kai_ by Kelly Baptist. This is his first book with Candlewick Press. Darnell Johnson lives with his wife in Atlanta.
