### Author Biography

**Ben Okri** is a playwright, poet, novelist, essayist, short-story writer, anthologist, and aphorist. He has also written film scripts. His works have won numerous national and international prizes, including the Booker Prize for Fiction. His books include the eco-fable _Every Leaf a Hallelujah_, the play _Changing Destiny_, the genre-bending climate fiction _Tiger Work_, the poetry collections _A Fire in My Head_ and _Mental Fight_, and the novels _Astonishing the Gods_, _The Last Gift of the Master Artists_, and _Dangerous Love_. In 2023 he received a knighthood for services to literature.
