### Author Biography

**Curtis Sittenfeld** is the _New York Times_ bestselling author of the novels _Prep, The Man of My Dreams, American Wife, Sisterland,_ and _Eligible,_ and the story collection _You Think It, I'll Say It,_ which have been translated into thirty languages. Her short stories have appeared in _The New Yorker, The Washington Post Magazine, Esquire,_ and _The Best American Short Stories_, of which she was the 2020 guest editor. Her nonfiction has appeared in _The New York Times, The Atlantic, Time,_ and _Vanity Fair,_ and on public radio's _This American Life_.
